West Palm Beach Showroom

At 500 Palm St, our West Palm Beach showroom brings SWD's bespoke doors, joinery and hardware to the United States. Designed as a series of connected spaces rather than a conventional display floor, it allows architects, interior designers and homeowners to experience our work as it is intended to be lived with; at full scale, in context and in the finishes it will be specified in.

A Considered Arrival

The experience begins at the threshold. A pair of bespoke walnut entrance doors, framed by glazed sidelights and an etched transom, opens onto a reception space where a high-gloss black lacquered pivot door, detailed with a sculpted circular motif, sets the tone for what follows. Beyond it, slim steel-framed glazed doors with an arched transom draw the eye through to the sample library.

The Sample Library

At the heart of the showroom is a floor-to-ceiling library of veneers, stains and finishes, complete with a rolling ladder and integrated lighting. Here, clients can compare timbers side by side, from pale oaks to rich walnuts, and see how each finish responds to light before a single door is made. Bronze-framed glazed sliding doors and screens allow the space to be opened up or closed off, demonstrating how glazing can define a room without enclosing it.

Doors in Every Language

Throughout the showroom, doors are presented as they would be in a finished home. Classical panelled designs sit alongside contemporary flush doors; painted double doors with circular mouldings, lacquered panelled doors, fluted oak, sunburst veneers and glazed doors with geometric fretwork and reeded glass. Arched oak double doors and a white glazed pair beneath a traditional fanlight show how proportion and profile can shape the character of a space.

Bespoke Joinery

The showroom also showcases the breadth of our joinery. A burr veneer bar with arched, marble-lined display niches anchors the hospitality area, while a full-height media wall with a sliding fabric panel and lit, asymmetric shelving demonstrates how cabinetry can be both architectural and functional. Each piece has been manufactured to the millimetre, using the same materials and finishes available to every SWD client.

Hardware & Detail

Our hardware collection is displayed alongside the doors it is designed to complement, from lever handles and pulls to engraved, solid brass hinges in polished and satin finishes. It is in these details that the SWD approach is most evident; every element is considered as part of a wider whole.
